Bring on learners from St. Ambrose University to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.
Learners in this program/experience are introduced to design for interactive documents and digital interfaces. The fundamentals of user experience design, user interface design, and research-based problem solving are studied. Coursework focuses on frontend design and development strategies including: analytic methods, ideation, sketching, and prototyping.
Learners
Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization.
Some final project deliverables might include:
- A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
- Website graphics and interface design recommendations
- A complete website utilizing a CMS system (SquareSpace)

Project Examples
Requirements
Learners in groups of 2-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations based on their in-depth research and analysis.
Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Describe, test and evaluate the usability and sustainability of user interfaces.
- Utilize client based concepts to develop user friendly interfaces.
- Demonstrate competency in information architecture and interface design techniques.
- Deliver professional presentations that justify the design process and development stages.
