Expected outcomes and deliverables

Phase 1 - Students will coordinate with the company representatives and come up with a plan to deliver the projects. (January 2023)

Phase 2 - Students will work on the projects. They will be in close contact with the company representatives. They will report their progress to the course instructor and ask their questions. The instructor will help them stay on track to finish the projects in time. (February and March 2023)

Phase 3 - Students will present their work. The company representatives and instructor will be invited. (April 2023)

Project Examples
  • Implementation of new services (mainly Python and Go) to deploy to the Cloud
  • Migrating on-premise applications to the Cloud
  • Refactoring legacy and monolithic applications and preparing them for the Cloud
  • Optimizing existing Cloud applications in terms of cost, security, and performance
  • Creating different environments for development, staging, and production
  • Analyzing existing DevOps methods and creating CI/CD pipeline (using Terraform and GitOps)

A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project.

A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the course to review the project scope.
