Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the placement period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.
Students are available for at least 240 hours of placement from January 1 until April 2021 over the Winter term.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually.
Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the project. The student should complete at least 240 hours with your organization by April 30, 2021.

Project Examples
Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal. marketing
Project examples that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- Comparison between different investment opportunities.
- Analysis of financial ratios (operating, profitability and liquidity): benchmarking relatively to the industry, to competitors, to equity indices and to past trends.
- Forecasting future cash flows.
- Estimation of the cost of capital.
- Development of scenarios.
- Comparison between different investment opportunities.
- Optimal allocation of resources.
- Evaluation of overall financial performance.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Provide a dedicated contact who will act as the student's primary supervisor over the duration of the virtual placement. A secondary contact should be provided as a backup. Students will interact virtually with their primary contact on a daily basis, or as needed.
At the completion of the Placement the student's supervisor will be asked to fill out an evaluation form.
Placements are unpaid, for-credit experience for students, but honorariums are welcomed if your organization is able to provide a stipend for the student.
