Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Clarkson University to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this course will work on small scale analysis of specific healthcare project in a hospital, medical practice, health insurance plan, private company serving healthcare sector. Typical projects would involve improving efficiency of some organizational practice, marketing a product or service, developing recommendations for assisting healthcare workforce, or organizational response to public health issues and trends. Students would research and assess the problem, research best practices or generate new ideas, and make recommendations. A project will be completed by a team of 4 students. 10 weeks, beginning April 1, 2022.
Sourcing/ Supply/Supply Chain Management Strategy Consultancy

Is your organization facing a challenge with your supply base or looking for a more cost-effective and higher-quality source of supply? In this project, upper year Clarkson University students will address a problem of your choosing and perform a quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop actionable recommendations that will help you develop a new purchasing plan or sourcing strategy, improve suppliers’ performance and relationships, or streamline your supply base.
Mathematical Economics

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Clarkson University to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students are able to understand and apply mathematical concepts and techniques in the context of economics. The course will build upon basic economic theory and mathematical concepts to focus on topics such as: static/equilibrium analysis, comparative statics, unconstrained and constrained optimization, and applications involving uncertainty and strategic behavior. Projects with a focus on environmental sustainability and policies are of special interest.
Engineering and Management Capstone

Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. This course a culminating technical experience for students who have completed a foundation engineering science education (i.e. mechanical, chemical, and electrical courses that are required by traditional engineering majors). Primarily designed for Engineering and Management (E&M) program, this capstone course will involve a real world technical problem that requires application of the knowledge gained in previous engineering science and management courses, along with process design principles.
