Details

Our current web application is a conversation tool for sending asynchronous screen/video recordings between employees in remote/distributed teams instead of needing to set up a Zoom meeting. We have high-fidelity wireframes and we are working on the software development process to be ready for early August.

We would like students to focus on:

  • Either full-stack, front-end, or back-end development of the initial prototype
  • Applying previous knowledge of or learning some of the following on the job: React, TypeScript, AWS, Express, Electron, CSS/Sass, UI libraries/kits (subject to change).
  • Being able to adapt to changing requirements
Deliverables

The final deliverables should take the form of a final report and presentation including:

  • Clean, readable, and reusable code following good software development practices.
  • The source code for the system, preferably in a source control system such as Git.
  • Documentation around models and attributes used to model any data.
  • Demo of assigned deliverables (to be done on GitHub)
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the technical leadership team for mentorship throughout the project.
