Details

Our company is building a gamified social app that pairs with physical, tech-embedded products to function as a new marketing tool and loyalty program for existing brands, creators, and IP owners.

We would like to work with students to develop a new website that acts as the information and sales page for potential partners/clients that come across the app.

Our goal is a stylish, effective page that is easy to maintain while providing the information someone needs about our platform in the most efficient way possible. This can be achieved through common site building tools such as Webflow (preferred over Wix or Wordpress), or possibly built entirely standalone if the student's skillset includes React.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Researching other, established SaaS platforms to determine the most important elements and information to include, and in what order.
  • Working with our in-house UI designer closely, and familiarizing themselves with our existing brand styling kit to ensure the final site matches our other content.
  • Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content.
  • Depending on how/where the site is built, ensuring our company has the knowledge necessary to update and maintain the website.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Testing the efficacy of the site with generated traffic: A/B testing layouts, optimizing for clickthroughs and clarity, with information gained from customer feedback once the site is live.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • An understanding of how major SaaS platforms organize and deliver information on their sales pages
  • In-depth understanding of our branding (but ideas and creativity are welcome within our general aesthetic!)
  • Development of a website using the most suitable tool
  • Recommendations for website maintenance

Bonus steps would include:

  • Testing the website with traffic and making improvements based on user input + results

Final deliverables should include

  • A website prototype.
  • A final report.
