Details

We are looking for a student/team with excellent writing and video skills. Identifying key words and applying them to blogs with the aim of informing, and generating traffic to: www.art-bc.com. Student/team will be called to reach out to website participants encouraging them to present submit guest blogs using keywords attracting organic traffic to themselves thru the website.

We are: BC’s Guide to Arts & Culture, a definitive guide to local, authentic cultural experiences in the province.

Featuring: Creative Communities in BC, Artful Getaways, Best Annual Festivals & Events, Artists Studios, Galleries, Heritage Sites, Aboriginal Culture, Theatres, Art Walks, & More

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics
  • Identify keywords and content to attract organic traffic to the website.
Mentorship

Students will work in close contact with the co-owners of BC's Guide to Arts & Culture, Trudy Van Dop and Chester Kmiec who are supervising and available for questions, and including occasional progress meetings to fine tune students' tasks and duties if necessary.
