Details

Our team is looking for students who can help us with these project requirements:

1) Framing the problem and helping public health programs, monitor their progress, analyzing data, and seeking ways to improve the programs in order to improve public health outcomes.

2) Acquiring and managing large data sets. Students will collect and analyze data—through observations, interviews, and surveys—to find the causes of diseases or other health problems. Our students have a range of training in different statistical packages including SAS, R, SQL, and GIS.

3) Applying modern statistical techniques to help with decision making.

4) Identifying and implementing the necessary technology infrastructure.

5) Providing a sustainable management-level solution and plan and direct studies of public health problems to find ways to prevent and treat them if they arise.

6) Identifying and addressing health disparities using data.

Additionally, Rutgers University Students specialize in the following areas :

  • Identify and solve issues facing healthcare provider organizations in the midst of value-based reimbursement shifts.
  • Develop the data analysis skills needed to drive decision-making in population health.
  • Improve organizational performance through operations excellence.
  • Lead interprofessional teams of physicians, nurses, and other providers.
