Existing platforms primarily showcase popular experiences, leaving much of the industry unsupported. Roamlii stands apart by championing and promoting smaller businesses, aiming for inclusivity across the diverse tourism landscape. In a world dominated by financially-driven algorithms and ads, travellers often miss out on lesser-known, but exceptional, experiences. Roamlii seeks to rectify this imbalance by offering a fairer representation, ensuring a broader discovery of brilliant destinations.
Roamlii’s mission is to revolutionize the current landscape of tourism platforms, advocating for fairness and a more comprehensive view of available travel experiences, while providing a full suite of promotional and lead management tools for its business partners, and a suite of discovery tools for its travellers.
With this project, we're looking to revamp our social media strategy, including our content pillars.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Familiarizing themselves with our company’s target market, brand guidelines, and products and services
- Research opportunities for enhanced Social Media strategies
- Define an enhanced approach to our content pillars
- Implement new content pillars and social media strategy
- Develop a systematic process to continuously review and update our social media deployments, so they require as little time as possible to maintain
Bonus steps in the process would also include:
- Build a catalogue of opportunities to review further down the road
Final deliverables should include:
- A solid understanding of our company’s target market, brand guidelines, and products and services
- An improved content pillar strategy in place
- An efficient process to create and deploy social media posts
- A month's worth of social media posts created and scheduled
- The student will also upload a project summary document to the Riipen portal, which will include snapshot images and brief descriptions of any written, image or video content they've created, strategic documents, proposals, etc.
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
