Details

The goal of this project is to create a series of evidence-based newsletter articles focused on sports injury prevention, common injuries, performance enhancement, and recovery strategies. These articles will serve to engage the PRO ATHLETE community and promote the PRO ATHLETE app by providing valuable, research-backed information. The project aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, allowing learners to apply their classroom learning in a real-world context. The articles should be well-researched, engaging, and tailored to the interests and needs of the PRO ATHLETE user base. The project will involve tasks such as researching relevant topics, writing and editing articles, and incorporating multimedia elements to enhance reader engagement.

Deliverables

- A series of 8-10 well-researched and engaging newsletter articles on sports injury prevention, injuries, performance, and recovery. PRO ATHLETE's following is mostly for basketball at the moment, so some articles could target basketball more specifically.

- We will discuss relevant topics in the beginning and each article should include references to credible sources.

-Once created in English, we will attempt to translate articles in French using ChatGPT. The PRO ATHLETE team will edit them once created. Bonus if you are bilingual :) but not essential.

- Once approved, articles will be uploaded to HubSpot platform. PRO ATHLETE will help students give access and navigate the platform.

Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our target market, product
  • Our current brand guidelines
  • Help with scientific content and knowledge used for the videos (targeted sports injuries and text)
Supported causes
Good health and well-being
