target market business strategies manicure artificial nails sales supply chain
Details

We are an early-stage startup focused on developing wearable technologies for beauty. Our first product is internally referred to as "ePolish." ePolish are artificial nails that can change colour instantaneously from any mobile device. Our team is entirely comprised of technical founders who are currently focused on finishing the prototype. We want students to help us refine our business strategy as we are looking to pitch to VCs in the summer of 2022. So far, we assume that women aged between 18-24 will be our target market. We want to position "ePolish" as a luxury product and have our company set as a house of brands to launch more accessible lines in the future. We envision B2B2C sales channels, which will require working with nail technicians and salons while creating interest from our target market.

We want students to focus on the following points:

  • Target market analysis.
  • Supply chain considerations to bring ePolish to market.
  • Plan for launching ePolish (pilot + sales channels)
  • Positioning of the product and the company.
  • Channels and messaging to use for promotion.
