Details

Silverlight Productions Inc. is seeking a team of learners to assist in the pre-production phase of their upcoming documentary projects. The primary goal is to organize and log film footage into a comprehensive spreadsheet, ensuring that all clips are easily accessible and categorized by relevant themes and topics. Additionally, the team will conduct research on specific nature topics to support the documentary's narrative and factual accuracy. This project offers learners the opportunity to apply their organizational, research, and creative skills in a real-world setting, bridging the gap between classroom knowledge and industry practices. By developing pitch materials, learners will also gain insight into the process of presenting and selling documentary concepts to potential stakeholders.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a well-organized spreadsheet that logs all film footage with appropriate categories and metadata. Additionally, a research report on specified nature topics will be compiled to support the documentary's content. Finally, a set of pitch materials, including a presentation and a one-page summary, will be developed to effectively communicate the documentary's concept and appeal. These deliverables will collectively enhance the pre-production process and prepare the documentary for the next stages of development.
