Our company would like to explore a software update to our mobile app.

We would like a group of students to design and implement new features to our current mobile app.

This will involve:

  • Conducting background research on our existing product.
  • Creating and implementing a defined list of new features into the existing product, such as user matching.
  • Conducting testing with real potential users, whether in-person or through survey services.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

  • Familiarize themselves with our existing product.
  • Familiarize themselves with the tools already being used in conjunction with the product, such as: Firebase, xcode, etc.
  • Design and build a defined list of new features into the existing product.
  • Conducting any sort of user testing on the new features.
  • Deploy an updated version of the mobile app.

Final deliverables should include

  • All code and supporting documents
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for guidance throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Current product and business understanding
  • Access to the current product and any associated documentation
  • Any sort of branding or styling advice
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter
