marketing fundraisingOur organization is committed to serving our target population. However, we are currently facing funding challenges.
We would like to collaborate with students to plan a fundraising event to help meet our goals.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals.
- Estimating and establishing the budget of the fundraising event.
- Creating a plan of action and a detailed breakdown of tasks for volunteers to complete at the event.
- Assisting in marketing and promoting our event.
Bonus steps in the process would also include:
- Recommending improvements for future fundraising events.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Understanding of our mission, values and goals
- Establishment of the event budget
- Creation of a plan of action
Bonus steps would include:
- Recommending areas of improvement for future events
Final deliverables should include
- A budget breakdown and event plan.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Our mission, values and goals
- Our programs and fundraising events
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
