The Sustainable Community Engagement Initiative aims to enhance Regenesis York's impact by developing and implementing effective outreach strategies. The project focuses on increasing community awareness and participation in sustainability efforts. Learners will work on organizing environmental campaigns and fostering partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups. The project provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in environmental advocacy and digital communication. Participants will create educational content on sustainability and engage with the community through social media, email newsletters, and virtual forums. The ultimate goal is to strengthen community ties and promote environmental justice through informed and active participation.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a comprehensive outreach strategy document outlining proposed campaigns and partnership opportunities. Learners will also produce a series of educational content pieces for digital platforms, such as social media posts and newsletter articles. Additionally, a report summarizing community feedback and engagement metrics will be compiled to assess the effectiveness of the initiatives.
