Recruit University Canada West graduate students as student-consultants. They will evaluate your business strategy, suggest improvements, and develop action plans and various analyses over a semester, using virtual tools for collaboration.
These MBA students bring international insights and industry experience, entrepreneurial skills, and strategic thinking to your project. Benefit from their analyses, ideas, recommendations, and practical solutions tailored to your business needs.
As a participant, provide a business challenge for the student team to evaluate and propose recommendations for your business. Elevate your organization with fresh perspectives and expert guidance.
Engagement: we will need company representatives to participate in one two-hour virtual session and one one-hour virtual session with our students. These will be scheduled based on company representative availability.
We require four companies to participate for the 2024 Summer term, July 8 - September 30, 2024. Final project deliverables will include student consultant reports including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations.

Master of business administration (mba), Strategic management, Strategic thinking, Business strategies. Research may include strategy theories and models including, but not limited to Porters Five Forces, Porters Value Chain, Porters Three Generic Strategies, Porters Diamond Theory, Resource Based View, VRIN and PESTLE and SWOT as well as Corporate Governance and Ethical Strategic considerations.
PROJECT EXAMPLES
In this assignment, students will conduct an overview of your business and understand your industry and competitive landscape. As a participating organization, you can direct their research by providing particular areas of interest and context on your challenges. You'll receive unique insights from their analyses by allowing students to perform an unbiased assessment and review.
Students will identify strengths, weaknesses and areas of opportunity. They will provide recommendations in one or more areas that address your business needs and insights into potential growth areas.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Employer must be willing to attend a final presentation within the given deadlines
Are you able to provide a primary contact that students are able to communicate with in a timely manner, and within the given timeframe?
