Students from Interactive Media Design and Web Development programs create digital assets for websites and web apps in collaboration with non-profit organizations. Interactive Media Design students generate brand books, graphics and motion graphics, while Web Development students integrate these assets into functional websites and apps. Through project-based learning, students gain practical experience, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration, ethical design, and effective project management, This course empowers students with valuable skills, supports non-profits, and promotes social responsibility in digital design and development.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

The format of deliverables is flexible depending on the kind of projects involved.

The expected outcomes from the organization:

  1. Be able to provide subject matter expert to mentor the student
  2. Provide dedicated personnel who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions
  3. Be available for a brief phone call with the faculty to establish your initial connection and ensure that your objectives align with the course's scope
  4. Ensure to attend the weekly virtual meeting
