Product details:
We want to provide the ability to make an additional income stream to anyone working at a company today simply by providing referral services to job seekers.
Today most companies offer incentives to employees in order to refer job seekers to the job openings they have.
Referral works most effectively for companies as they cut on the hiring cost, job postings cost, recruitment efforts, or services cost, onboarding is much easier and faster with referred employees versus employees who have zero contact or knowledge about how to navigate the company culture and politics.
Our platform will help especially people who don’t have family or friends in their line of business or newcomers who have absolutely no one to provide such help to them, or simply anyone seeking to increase their visibility and hiring chances.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
- Requirement gathering
- Design mockups/wireframes.
- Define architecture and environments
- Develop an MVP version
- Landing page
- Gamification
- Documentation
This will involve:
- Conduct research and design (research features and functionalities from bark.com, b2b referral platforms, Upwork, dating apps)
- Identify key functionalities for our mobile application. (phase 1 - phase 2)
- Create a Backlog and define sprints, roadmap, and timelines.
- Define the architecture to be used.
- Research the right technologies and environment for development (crossfunctional or native languages)
Final deliverables should include:
- MVP mobile version
- Documentations
- The design screens and all assets in a shareable format
- A presentation as stated above of the final designs
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Product details, recruitment industry, referrals in the current state ( no applications)
- Learn about Product Management
- Product branding, UI/UX, marketing, or styling advice
- Input on choices, issues we would like to solve, features behavior and functionalities, or anything else the students might encounter
- Tools:Trello/slack/figma/github
