We are looking for assistance in with fundraising. This primarily includes event planning for our annual fundraising event that support our mission, and assistance with our direct-ask fundraising campaign that will be launched at the fundraising event (e.g. script preparation, creation of brochure for potential donors).

This project will include:

• Developing and implementing a strategy for our fundraising event and campaign launch that ensures we reach our target goal of raising $30,000
• Experience telling a compelling story to others so that they fully understand the need for our project and funding.
• Gaining event planning and organizing experience (e.g. venue and entertainment booking, catering, decor, etc.).
• Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities for our fundraising campaign and event (e.g. prize donations for an auction and raffle at the event).
• Develop writing materials and scripts for the fundraising campaign.

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. This will happen weekly + as often as is needed to provide clarity for the student placements.
