pedagogy talent sourcing planning content creation social media planning marketing marketing planning communication podcasting researchThe Hart House Hip Hop Education Program Research Assistant will work closely with our Community Connector Residency lead to create content, research prospective programs and assist with general administration tasks related to the project. The Program Research Assistant will provide research and planning to 3 main areas: 1) Source candidates from within the Hip Hop community locally and abroad to act as participants for an audio based project, 2) Research and make recommendations for developing an in depth hip hop pedagogical resource guide specifically related to the the areas of Hip Hop and disability and Hip Hop and the LGBTQ2S+ community 3) to help create a student facing marketing plan that will assist Communications with outreach, branding and amplification of the Hip Hop Education program. This role will require candidate to work primarily remotely, but may include some in person meetings. Must be results driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Building relationships with student groups through online methods
· Research and recommend a variety of materials (including watching film, listening to podcasts and reading source material)
· Populating, categorizing and organizing lists for programming and marketing/communications
· Assistance as requested corresponding via email and participating in meetings
- Contacting participants and coordinating participant details

- Provide report on key findings and next steps
Students will need to provide research materials on specified subject matter
students will need to secure participants for the audio project
students will need to provide a draft a student facing marketing/social media plan
students will need to write a final report
Hip Hop Education team members will provide ongoing mentorship, schedule weekly check-in meetings, and ad hoc meetings as needed.
Student will work directly with a designated HH team member.
