This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Research around the company's brand identity, values, and target audience.
- Logo refresh that incorporates the revamped branding
- Creating a style guide that contains a color palette, typography, components, logo variations, printable assets, and more.
- Restructuring the website layout and content to incorporate the new styles and improve user experience.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following tasks:
- Create a comprehensive style guide
- Design a new website layout that incorporates the new styles.
Final deliverables:
- A finalized style guide document in digital format
- Figma layout mockups
- High-resolution files of the revamped logo and/or various assets.
- Meetings with students multiple times every week if needed, with a minimum of a one-hour weekly alignment meeting.
- Support in gathering requirements
- Comprehensive and easy-to-follow tasks
- Help with design direction
- Constructive feedback and help from a senior UI designer with more than 15 years of experience in the field
