Our current challenges with website include:
- Ensuring all educational content is easily accessible and understandable, particularly for non-native English speakers or those with limited educational backgrounds.
- Maintaining user engagement and motivation throughout the learning process to ensure high course completion rates.
- Integrating the platform with external systems such as local agritech companies for internships, job boards, and community forums.
Our Specific Goals Include:
- Develop a user-friendly interface that simplifies navigation and enhances the overall learning experience.
- Ensure the platform is accessible to users with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of technical proficiency.
- Create a sense of community through forums, discussion boards, and networking opportunities.
- Facilitate collaboration between learners, educators, and industry professionals.

Milestones and Timeline:
Phase 1: Project Planning and Initial Setup (June,2024)
- Define project scope and objectives.
- Assemble the project team.
- Develop a detailed project timeline and set milestones.
Phase 2: Requirements Gathering and Review (July,2024)
- Review existing requirements and designs.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather additional requirements.
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement in current designs.
Phase 3: Design Audit and Competitive Research (August,2024-September,2024)
- Conduct a design audit to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Perform competitive research to analyze competitors' design strengths and weaknesses.
- Develop actionable recommendations based on findings.
Phase 4: User Research (October, 2024-November, 2024)
- Develop research plans, screener surveys, and conduct user interviews.
- Create user personas to better understand the target audience.
- Summarize key findings and recommendations from user research.
Phase 5: Redesign and Prototyping (December, 2024)
- Workshop ideas and develop wireframes or mockups showing improved user flows.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and develop a prototype in Figma.
- Conduct usability testing to validate designs and gather feedback.
Phase 6: Finalization and Handoff (January 2025)
- Incorporate feedback from usability testing into final designs.
- Prepare a package of all deliverables and findings for handoff.
- Ensure all documentation is clear and comprehensive for future reference.
Specific Needs
1. Content Creation:
- Develop engaging multimedia content for the website
- Ensure content is tailored to the needs of beginners and non-native English speakers.
2. Technical Integration:
- Integrate the platform with local agritech companies for internships and real-world projects.
- Implement robust API integrations for seamless data exchange.
Deliverables
1. Design Audit:
- Audit the current user flow to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
2. Competitive Research:
- Analysis of direct or indirect competitors' design strengths and weaknesses, with actionable recommendations.
3. User Research:
- Research plans, screener surveys, user interviews, and persona development to better understand users.
4. Usability Testing:
- Summary of key findings and recommendations, or documentation of testing sessions to understand users’ experience and interaction with the product.
5. Redesign Recommendations:
- Improved flows for distinct user types. Workshop ideas and turn those into wireframes or mockups.
6. Prototype:
- High-fidelity mockups and a prototype in Figma to test and validate the designs.
Finalization
- Handoff all deliverables and findings in a comprehensive package.
- Ensure the work is easily understood and can be incorporated into future projects.
