Details

In a $427.15 billion industry, the two main actors are not well-taken care of. Patients, on the one hand, when faced with critical illnesses, don't know where to turn to, and usually, they GOOGLE searching for the essential answers: best hospitals, best treatments, best doctors, what to do...

On the other hand, Doctors are underpaid in many markets and have little access to funding. In other markets like the US, where they get paid very well, they are stressed and overwhelmed with the "business" numbers: how many patients they see, how many tests they should order, which ones, and so on.

Interestingly, there is not one trustworthy body of knowledge to which patients can turn when they face the worst news.

We are here to connect The Best Doctors in the World with Patients and Families and give Patients and Families access to the best options -regardless of where they live- from the best doctors and hospitals worldwide. Doctors, on the other hand, will get the visibility they deserve.

Deliverables

Initial work includes:

  • Market research and analysis of Best Hospitals in selected markets in SE Asia, USA, Canada and Europe. This research aims to understand what they specialise in and their marketing interests.
  • Analysis of which are the best markets to target according to insights from prior research
  • Research on patients' sentiments regarding their health care options in selected markets.
  • Insights on the health insurance ecosystem in those markets, especially looking for global players
  • We will also need to understand the Insurance market in those countries: are there global players? How trusted are those? Strong local players with international insurance offerings?
  • Sales strategy outline

Lastly, we would like the students to present a Global Marketing Strategy, which will include strategies to sign-up the best hospitals and communications strategies to get patients to sign up for this unprecedented event.

Mentorship

We will support the team, through:

- Weekly meetings with our CEO who is leading this program

- Special training on Presentation and Pitching techniques

- Special training on negotiation techniques to make a bigger and better pie for all parties
