The main goal of the project is to provide an intern with valuable learning and professional experience in the field of Fashion Management and Technical Design. As a Fashion Management Assistant and Technical Designer, the intern's role will involve various tasks, including brand management assistance, creating tech packs, contributing design ideas, conducting research and analysis, and performing administrative duties to support the fashion brand's operations.

Deliverables

To achieve the project goal of providing valuable learning and professional experience in Fashion Management and Technical Design, learners will need to complete a variety of tasks during the internship. These tasks may include:

  1. Assisting with Brand Management: Learners will be involved in various aspects of brand management, which may include helping with marketing initiatives, social media management, and analyzing brand performance metrics.
  2. Creating Tech Packs: Learners will learn how to create technical design packs (tech packs) that contain all the necessary information and specifications for manufacturing garments, such as measurements, materials, and construction details.
  3. Contributing Design Ideas: Learners will have the opportunity to contribute their creative ideas and designs to the fashion brand's projects and collections under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  4. Conducting Research and Analysis: Learners will be responsible for conducting research on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors to inform decision-making and design strategies.
  5. Performing Administrative Duties: Learners may be involved in various administrative tasks, such as organizing files, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings to support the smooth functioning of the fashion brand.


Mentorship
  1. Slack Group Access: By adding the learners to your Slack group, they will have a dedicated platform for exchanging information, seeking clarifications, and collaborating with our team members. This facilitates real-time communication and allows them to stay connected throughout the project duration.
  2. Prompt Responses: Ensuring that their questions and inquiries are answered as soon as possible is crucial for maintaining their momentum and progress. Regular monitoring of the Slack channel and timely responses to their queries will provide the necessary support they need to overcome any challenges they encounter during the project.
  3. General Meetings: Conducting general meetings at specific intervals during the project will allow for face-to-face or virtual interactions. These meetings can serve as an opportunity to address any project-related concerns, provide guidance, and clarify expectations. General meetings also offer a platform for learners to share their progress, discuss their findings, and receive feedback from your team.
  4. Project Guidelines and Resources: Providing learners with clear project guidelines, including objectives and deliverables will help them stay on track and understand the project's expectations. Additionally, sharing relevant resources such as research materials, industry reports, and case studies will support their research efforts and help them develop well-informed recommendations.
  5. Ongoing Support and Mentorship: Offering ongoing support and mentorship throughout the project will contribute to learners' success. 
  6. Feedback and Evaluation: Providing constructive feedback on the learners' progress and deliverables is essential for their growth and improvement. Regularly reviewing their work, offering suggestions for enhancement, and acknowledging their achievements will motivate and guide them in completing the project successfully.
