The main goal of the Human Resource Management Internship is to provide the intern with an opportunity to develop their skills and gain practical experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR administration. The internship aims to help the intern gain a comprehensive understanding of HR processes and functions in a real-world setting, and to support the HR team in achieving their objectives. The ultimate goal of the internship is to provide the intern with a meaningful learning experience and to prepare them for a successful career in HR management.

Deliverables
  1. Assist with recruitment and selection process, such as posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  2. Participate in employee relations activities, such as investigating and resolving employee complaints, and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  3. Support the performance management process by collecting and analyzing performance data, and assisting in the development of performance improvement plans.
  4. Assist with the development and delivery of training programs for employees.
  5. Help with HR administration tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits programs.
  6. Conduct research on HR-related topics and assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
  7. Collaborate with the HR team on various projects to support the achievement of organizational HR goals.
Mentorship
  1. A dedicated supervisor who will serve as a mentor and guide the intern throughout the internship. The supervisor will provide regular feedback, answer questions, and offer support as needed.
  2. Access to a range of HR resources, including HR policies and procedures, HR software and systems, and relevant legislation and regulations.
  3. Opportunities to attend HR-related training and development sessions, both within and outside the organization, to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  4. Regular check-ins and evaluations to track progress and ensure that the intern is meeting their goals and objectives.
  5. Opportunities to participate in HR-related projects and initiatives, which will allow the intern to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the organization's HR goals.
  6. Networking opportunities, such as attending industry events and connecting with HR professionals, which will enable the intern to build their professional network and gain valuable insights into the HR field.
