The internship aims to help the intern gain a comprehensive understanding of HR processes and functions in a real-world setting, and to support the HR team in achieving their objectives. The ultimate goal of the internship is to provide the intern with a meaningful learning experience and to prepare them for a successful career in HR management.
- Assist with recruitment and selection process, such as posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Participate in employee relations activities, such as investigating and resolving employee complaints, and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Support the performance management process by collecting and analyzing performance data, and assisting in the development of performance improvement plans.
- Assist with the development and delivery of training programs for employees.
- Help with HR administration tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits programs.
- Conduct research on HR-related topics and assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with the HR team on various projects to support the achievement of organizational HR goals.
- A dedicated supervisor who will serve as a mentor and guide the intern throughout the internship. The supervisor will provide regular feedback, answer questions, and offer support as needed.
- Access to a range of HR resources, including HR policies and procedures, HR software and systems, and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Opportunities to attend HR-related training and development sessions, both within and outside the organization, to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Regular check-ins and evaluations to track progress and ensure that the intern is meeting their goals and objectives.
- Opportunities to participate in HR-related projects and initiatives, which will allow the intern to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the organization's HR goals.
- Networking opportunities, such as attending industry events and connecting with HR professionals, which will enable the intern to build their professional network and gain valuable insights into the HR field.
