We would like to hire a student Intern who will be our Community Development Project Lead. We would like this Intern to manage our current community development projects and research/assist with completing grant applications that support the mission, vision and values of our non-profit.

This project will include:

  • Develp work plan with input from managing Directors. Once approved, develop and manage the work plan.
  • New employee (student placement) on-boarding and communications plan
  • Identify potential sponsors, partners and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.
  • Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.
Deliverables
  • Develop communications strategy
  • Develop sponsorship materials
  • Liaise with community partners and stakeholders
  • Research, plan, write, edit, and revise potential granting opportunities
  • Research in order to find further other grant opportunities to support our cause

Mentorship

An overview of the project and role will be provided.

The Intern will connect directly with the Director of Operations for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

Guidance will be provided with an overview of the organization, needs, scope and deliverables.
