Welcome to While She is True! We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for talented students to contribute to our innovative project, Website Chatbot.

Main Goal:

The primary objective of this project is to implement an AI-powered chatbot on our website to provide instant answers about our programs, partnerships, and general inquiries. This aligns with our coding-focused mission and demonstrates our commitment to integrating emerging technologies.

Project Scope and Expectations:

During this project, students will:

  • Research and select an appropriate chatbot framework.
  • Develop and train the chatbot with predefined FAQs and dynamic responses.
  • Integrate the chatbot into the WST website.
  • Test and refine chatbot responses based on user interactions.
Deliverables

Final Deliverables:

  • Fully functional chatbot integrated into the WST website.
  • Trained chatbot with predefined responses.
  • Documentation on chatbot setup and maintenance.
  • 5 - 10 minute presentation demoing the functional chat bot.

While She is True (WST) is a non-profit that is dedicated to educating, empowering and encouraging young girls to explore and pursue technology. We achieve this goal using a threefold approach, the first being computer science education. The second involves mentoring from women in the technology field. Lastly, we provide technological resources such as laptops and other tech hardware to break any barriers that prevent girls from having the right technology to use and grow in the computer science space.
