Details

Resilient Hearts, as a startup and for-profit organization, has limited financial resources to support its operations and expand its service reach. The organization needs to enhance its visibility among potential funders and sponsors who align with its mission. Resilient Hearts seeks support to overcome its funding challenges by identifying viable funding sources and creating tailored communication strategies to develop well-structured, impactful proposals and emails that effectively communicate the organization's needs and value proposition.

Deliverables

Measurable Outcomes:

  1. Development of 5 Tailored Proposals: Create five customized funding proposals for different types of funders (e.g., government grants, corporate sponsorships, private foundations). Each proposal should address specific funding priorities and demonstrate how Resilient Hearts aligns with them.
  2. Drafting of 10 Targeted Emails: Prepare ten well-crafted email templates for outreach to potential funders and sponsors. These emails should include a brief introduction to Resilient Hearts, the funding needs, and a call-to-action for further engagement.
  3. Identification of 15 Potential Funders and Sponsors: Research and compile a list of at least 15 potential funding sources or sponsors. Each entry should include contact information, funding criteria, and a brief description of how their goals align with Resilient Hearts.
  4. Outreach Strategy/campaign: Design and propose an email outreach strategy to engage potential funders and sponsors, with tracking metrics such as open rates, response rates, and follow-up actions.

Deliverables:

Proposal Documents

  • Five Funding Proposals: Each proposal should include an executive summary, problem statement, objectives, funding requirements, and a detailed budget breakdown.
  • Proposal Templates: Create adaptable templates for future use, including sections on organizational background, project description, and funding impact.

Email Templates

  • Ten Email Drafts: These should be tailored to different types of funders (e.g., grant-making bodies, corporate sponsors) and include personalized greetings, a brief overview of Resilient Hearts, and a compelling reason to consider funding.

Research Report

  • List of 15 Potential Funders and Sponsors: Provide a detailed report including contact details, funding interests, and any relevant notes on application procedures or deadlines.
  • Platforms for tracking email outreach effectiveness- a report on the outreach campaign, including data on email metrics and engagement.

Presentation

  • Final Presentation: Prepare a presentation summarizing the research findings, proposal highlights, and email strategies. This presentation should be suitable for sharing with Resilient Hearts’ executive team.
