Focus: Research and Implement Projects for Business Growth

We have some great ideas on how to scale-up our company and create passive or semi-passive income. We want to work with entrepreneurial-minded students to complete system documentation, research, and begin the implementation process.

We are moving towards a business model that includes coaching other writers and offering advice (industry expert) vs. actual writing services.

FINAL DELIVERABLES:

• Document our company's existing services and internal process to determine scalability.
• Research and draft a business growth strategy. Determine the pros/cons of different scale-up model(s).
• Develop a step-by-step action plan, including timelines and an estimated budget for implementing any new model(s).
• Begin implementation of any new model(s) within the available internship timeframe.
• Ensure the tasks are transitioned back to the company with complete instructions regarding deliverable activities and next steps.

Mentorship

There are weekly meetings and regular online communications. The work is task-oriented and observed to ensure completion. We will evaluate the deliverables, provide feedback, and adjust the plan if needed. The student has team members who are also an available support system.

Supervision

Our mentoring plan will start with a meeting to establish and formalize a working relationship. We will outline the specifics of the role and define meeting frequency and location. We will develop the overall goals and objectives, then break them down into weekly deliverables. We will meet weekly to discuss the process and any outcomes. We will also discuss the student's long-term career goals and incorporate skills they would like to learn during the internship.
