Virtual Internship Opportunity: Marketing
Positions available: 2 teams of 4 persons Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for marketing students, 1 team will be responsible for handling Strategic Social Media Marketingand 1 team responsible for handling Website Overhaul. The primary focus for the student will be: Strategic Social Media Marketing - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s); develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; creating useable social media and blog posts. Website Overhaul- Review and update current website and information, ample video and other content which could be added Our goal at the end of this experience is: Branding and Marketing Communications - For the student to help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share. SEO Strategy & Recommendations - For the student to help us generate more traffic and revenue through search engines. Strategic Social Media Marketing - For the student to help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content. Influencer Marketing Opportunity
Number of positions available: 20 Peopletail is an e-commerce retailer that helps health and wellness brands sell products through a community of content creators and influencers We’d like to provide Riipen students with an opportunity to Level Up their experience in the field of Influencer Marketing . The role of 80 hours will consist of focusing and outreaching to influencers to market and sell products with Peopletail. We’d be looking for you to outreach to social media influencers that focus in areas of health and wellness, and those who like to promote products they’re interested in. Each influencer should have 1000+ more followers. The role of 80 hours will consist of: 10 hours - Crafting your own original written pitch of why influencers should work with Peopletail to sell and market products. Example topics to cover: What makes Peopletail unique and interesting? What kind of brands does Peopletail work with? What makes Peopletail’s e-commerce platform different from others? Why should influencers consider selling with Peopletail? How much can they earn? During your initial 10 hours you will book a call with a member of Peopletail’s leadership team to learn about the company and ask questions. The balance 70 hours - You will be pitching your story to social media influencers with the aim to get coverage for Peopletail. You’ll be tasked to pitch to influencers on a select medium. Examples mediums: facebook, instagram, tiktok, youtube. You will be asked to keep a google spreadsheet of all influencers you’ve reached out to for record keeping purposes, and cases where they may follow up after your project ends. Success will be realized if an influencer agrees to accepting your request to work with Peopetail to market and sell products.
