Non-Profit Staffing and Volunteer Recruitment Optimization
Our staff and volunteers are at the heart of what we do, and their recruitment is critical to our organization’s success. Finding individuals who can invest their time in our mission, whether as employees or volunteers, can be costly. We want to find ways to optimize this process so we can find great candidates faster, and spend more time serving our clients and community. We would like students to help us with one or more of the following activities: Document the current state of our staff and/or volunteer recruitment process, from the time the resource need is identified to the time the position is filled. Create visualizations, i.e. Visio or data flow diagrams to help us identify strengths and pain points in our recruitment process. Assess our current process and make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies. Document and map a target state process that we can use to train our team on the new process.
Marketing Strategy Plan
We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our target market: Those with disabilities, seniors, insurance adjusters, Personal Injury Law firms. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company? What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using? What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals? How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition?
Web Application Development Project
Problem: The clients are always changing their schedules with the Personal Support Worker (PSW) or vice versa, we are not always informed, which creates a constant need to be updated to keep up with the appointments that are scheduled and kept, or scheduled then rescheduled. We are looking to build a software application where calendars are updated daily that allows us to schedule multiple events over the same time Frame (multiple schedules, one for each client) containing their schedule details, PSW details and referral source. Outcome: We need to connect our cell phones to the company hotline , to direct our daily calls with clients and or employees as well as Email Our PSW’S need to check in, with their GPS location and client name to confirm their appointment has begun To enhance the transfer of documents from PSW’s to company data base including timesheets, legal documents and files We would like to replicate the Skip The Dishes or Uber Eats app using geolocation
Intern for Social Media and Sales
The main goal overall is to optimize our social media platforms to reach our audience for in-home supports. We need to target through well thought content creation and content calendar organization. We want to improve our hiring ads, recruitment marketing and then also target our clients and up our sales through community partnerships/cross collaborations via our podcast and networks.
