Visualizing Data to Design Strategy

Do you need help making sense of your data? Communicating your data? In this project, data are analyzed by students to answer questions relevant to your organization's context. Students will explore concepts and techniques to understand analytics results and appropriately infer relationships to answer questions and visualize results using contemporary techniques. Upon completion of the project, you will receive a detailed report and presentation.

Do you want to strengthen the communication within your organization? Are you motivated to communicate in more intentional and thoughtful ways? Born out of the work of positive psychology, positive communication can reflect your potential (Mirivel, 2014) and provide a framework for improving communication across your organization Student Objectives: Demonstrate an understanding of the theory and practice of positive interpersonal communication through class discussion and writing of research. Demonstrate an ability to identify and research a specific case of positive communication as a way to apply, extend , and understand the more general theoretical concept. Understand how to practice and apply / implement positive communication principles into everyday life where positive communication is needed, and be able to identify cases and examples where positive communication is already practiced. Students will be able to write in genres appropriate to the discipline of Communication Studies

Is your organization developing or updating its incident response process? In this course, student consultants from the Bryan School of Business and Economics will create or revise an incident response plan that you can deploy to mitigate the impact of attacks and threats. Students can also work on cybersecurity related projects such as the following. Task 1: Understand Different Employees’ Perspectives of Cybersecurity Task 2: Understand the Information Risks within an Organization Task 3: Business Continuity Planning Task 4: The Security of Cloud Computing Architectures Task 5: The Blockchain application during COVID-19 pandemic
