Hello! I'm Madison, a student-nurse at Thompson Rivers University and a proud member of the varsity women's volleyball team. In my future nursing career, I aim to contribute to improving the healthcare system, particularly in rural areas, by enhancing accessibility and resources. One of my long-term goals is to pursue a Master's in Nursing with a focus on becoming a Nurse Practitioner, to help address the primary care shortage. Throughout my studies, I've developed a strong passion for volunteering. This past April, I had the rewarding experience of volunteering in Fiji, where I taught health science topics and provided first aid to children in various villages. In my spare time, I love being outdoors, whether it's hiking, skiing, or swimming.

Short Animation Video Creation for sports injury prevention app AD campaign
We are PRO ATHLETE, a startup with the objective of preventing athlete injuries. We want to explore ways of promoting our app with captivating social media ads to boost engagement and clicks to our website and social media platforms. We would like to collaborate with students to create short, animated videos that we will be using for ad campaigns to launch our app version 2.0. These videos will be shared on different social media platforms with the objective of creating engagement and clicks to our website and platforms. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s target market, brand guidelines, and product. Developing a storyboard and animating scenes for the video. Selecting suitable background music. Combining visual and auditory elements to create finalized videos. Recommending ideas for future marketing videos.

Local Donation Funding Schedule Compilation
The Kamloops Therapeutic Riding Association (KTRA) aims to enhance its funding strategy by understanding the donation cycles of local companies and corporations. The project involves researching and compiling a comprehensive spreadsheet that details when these organizations allocate their donation funding. This will enable KTRA to strategically plan their outreach efforts and maximize potential funding opportunities. The project requires learners to apply their research and data organization skills to gather accurate information from various sources, such as company websites, press releases, and direct communication with corporate representatives. The goal is to create a user-friendly and easily updatable resource that KTRA can utilize for future fundraising initiatives. This project will provide learners with practical experience in data collection, organization, and analysis, aligning with their academic program's focus on business administration or nonprofit management.
