Online Training Course Design
Our company provides a service that provides support to talented student-athletes who want to study and play their sport at the collegiate level. Our company provides regular training for our employees, so they are up-to-date on ethics and safety standards as well as changes within the industry. To make training more convenient, we hope to transform our training programs into online courses. We would like to work with students to determine what features and materials employees would find useful in an online training course. Based on this information, students can then recommend the platform that would be most suitable. Tasks include: Gathering relevant course design and content information from interviews / surveys with key stakeholders. Researching options for our online training platform. Assessing existing online training platforms and recommending the best platform for our course. Reviewing our existing training material and making recommendations. Assisting in designing the course and revising training material.

Elite Sports & Education Website Development
Our company offers a service that helps talented Canadian student-athletes navigate the athletic recruiting process. We hope to update and revamp our existing website to attract more customers. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through common site building tools such as Wix, Webflow, and WordPress. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

New Employee Training Development
Our company has a large employee turnover rate for sales roles, meaning that manually providing onboarding tasks with every new employee is an inefficient use of our company’s time. Instead of conducting onboarding in a face-to-face setting, we hope to transition to an online course that will introduce employees to their roles, and show them all of our start-up resources. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Examine the current onboarding process for new hires to identify what should be included in the onboarding process including forms, documentation and information. Establish a logical structure and order for the onboarding process, divided into “segments” or “modules” and their content. Research platforms or websites to automate the onboarding process. Create a segment specifically introducing new employees to our workplace culture and values.

Promotional Video Creation
Our organization is passionate about helping talented student-athletes achieve their athletic and academic goals. We ​​want to increase awareness about our services. We would like to collaborate with students to create a promotional video. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our brand, or services, our mission, and goals. Recording a presentation or screencast to raise awareness of our company/service. Finding and applying suitable background music. Adding text, transitions, and overlays to the video. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Presenting the video and making edits based on feedback. Recommending ideas and editing tools for future awareness videos.
