Hart House Hip Hop Education Programs Assistant

The Hart House Hip Hop Education Project Assistant, will support project lead and contribute to specific project goals/outcomes that enhance the student experience. The Project Assistant, will work on 3 key areas: to contribute to and help build a robust Hip Hop Education program geared towards in class delivery, work as a facilitator for scheduled program(s) and create and maintain a resource list focusing on critical Hip Hop pedagogy literature. This role will require candidate to work remotely primarily but may include some in person engagement as restrictions allow. Must be able to work independently and be results driven. Skills & Qualifications: · Must be current U of T student ·  Experienced in student facilitation · Understanding of and interest in EDI · Familiar with project management principles and administrative competencies · Passion and/or interest in Hip Hop, Arts, Social Justice and Community Building · Knowledge of working with Teams, Zoom Duties · Responsibilities include building student audiences, this will include. · Building relationships with students and student groups through online methods · Source and secure other opportunities for Hart House participation/representation on all campuses · Follow up on leads and potential partnerships as directed · Assistance as requested corresponding via email and participating in meetings · Coordinating, hosting, leading or co-facilitating virtual or in person programs · Assist with the collection and collation of program assessment data · Administration duties and other relevant duties as required
