Experience feedback
I am pleased to provide feedback on the outstanding collaboration with the Level UP Teams from the Capstone Project - Small Business Management course at University Canada West. The Market Expansion Research project conducted by your students has been a resounding success, delivering insightful and actionable strategies for expanding our service offerings in the refrigerated transportation sector. The comprehensive approach taken by the students in addressing market research, risk analysis, and strategic planning has significantly contributed to our understanding of the industry dynamics and potential growth areas. Their meticulous work on assessing competitive landscapes and proposing innovative solutions reflects a high level of professionalism and dedication. The teams displayed exceptional analytical skills, creativity, and a strong work ethic throughout the project. The detailed reports and presentations were not only well-researched but also clearly communicated, making complex information accessible and applicable for our strategic goals. This project has greatly benefited our organization, and we are excited about implementing the recommended strategies. We truly appreciate the opportunity to work with such a talented group of future professionals and look forward to possible future collaborations. Thank you for facilitating this partnership and guiding the students through this enriching experience.

Suzanne was easy to work with - we had a bit of a glitch with communication, which resulted in the project start being delayed for the students - but all was well in the end.

MBA Project - Business Management

BUSI660

Jan 20, 2025 - Mar 15, 2025

The MBA students are in a capstone project-based course, designed for students in the final term of their MBA program. The course has a strong analytical, applied, and experiential orientation. Students work in groups of 4-5 to focus on a challenge/opportunity for the business. The students' process - and ultimate deliverable will include a current analysis of the business, problem or opportunity identification, research (as applicable), recommended solutions/strategy with implementation plan, budget and finally, risk identification and mitigation strategies (again, as applicable). The project can be for a Canadian business of any size, however enterprises run by solo-preneurs would probably not provide the necessary scope.
