Marketing and Communications
The goal of this project is to contribute to the planning and execution of Synclusiv’s Marketing and Communications (MARCOM) strategy, enhancing the organization's brand presence and engagement across multiple channels. The intern will focus on creating and refining digital and print content, including managing updates to the website, drafting newsletters, and designing marketing materials such as 1-pagers and templates. Additionally, the intern will support initiatives related to Synclusiv’s podcast, social media campaigns, and speaking engagements, as well as help foster partnerships aligned with the company’s mission of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in workplaces. This experience aims to provide the intern with practical skills in integrated marketing communications, content development, and strategic outreach while contributing meaningfully to Synclusiv’s impact and growth.
Training Facilitation Guides
Our consulting firm provides Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training for employees, to promote safe and inclusive workplaces. To make training more convenient, we hope to transform our training programs into both online courses and turnkey facilitation kits. We would like to work with students to transform our training materials into more accessible formats for external facilitation. Based on this information, students can create simple and visual facilitation guides. Tasks include: Gathering relevant course materials and other resources. Designing a simple and clear facilitation guide format/template. Reviewing our existing training materials and making recommendations on what to include in the facilitation guides. Assisting in designing the course training materials.
Employee Inclusion Assessment Reporting Tool Automation
The main goal for the project is to support the automation of Synclusiv Inc.'s employee inclusion assessment reporting tool. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Understanding the current employee inclusion assessment tool and its manual processes. - Identifying areas within the tool that can be automated to improve efficiency and accuracy. - Developing software or tools to automate the assessment process. - Testing the automated tool and making necessary improvements based on feedback.
Podcast Production
The main goal of the project is to support the development and implementation of Synclusiv Inc.'s podcast. Learners will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of podcast production, from conceptualization and planning to recording, filming, editing, and distribution. Learners will work closely with hosts, guests, and other team members to create compelling, high-quality audio-visual content that engages our audience and aligns with our brand goals.
Social Media Content Creation
The main goal of the project is to support the content creation for Synclusiv Inc.'s social media accounts. Learners will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and executing engaging content across our social media channels to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and grow our online community.

Inclusivity Index Automation Project
The main goal for the project is to support the automation of Synclusiv Inc.'s Inclusivity Index, which involves creating a survey, creating the capacity for data analysis, and generating reports to measure and improve personal inclusivity. This will involve several different steps for the project team, including: - Collaborating with Synclusiv Inc. to understand the requirements and goals for the Inclusivity Index. - Designing and developing a survey tool for personal assessment of inclusivity. - integrating to the tool the capacity for it to analyse the data according to our scoring criteria. - Integrate to the tool the capacity to generate a personalized report of an individual's inclusivity index with findings and recommendations for enhancing inclusivity.
Grant Application Support for Synclusiv Inc. Expansion to the USA
The main goal for the project is to support Synclusiv Inc. in the grant application process for business grants to aid in their expansion to the USA. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching and identifying potential business grants available for organizations expanding to the USA. - Assisting in the preparation of grant application materials, including writing proposals and compiling necessary documentation. - Collaborating with the Synclusiv Inc. team to ensure all grant application requirements are met. - Providing support in the review and submission process for the grant applications.
E-Learning for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The main goal for the project is to support Synclusiv Inc. in developing e-learning materials focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. This will involve writing scripts, creating testing, quizzes, and videos to illustrate the concepts and promote inclusive workplaces.
Employee Handbook Development for Synclusiv Inc.
The main goal for the project is to support the development of an employee handbook outlining all of Synclusiv Inc.'s policies. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching and understanding the existing policies and procedures of Synclusiv Inc. - Collaborating with the HR team to identify any gaps or areas for improvement in the current policies. - Drafting and writing the content for the employee handbook. - Reviewing and revising the handbook based on feedback from the HR team and other stakeholders. - Formatting and designing the handbook for a professional and user-friendly layout.
