AI Transcription Organization Project

The goal of this project is to have students help We Write Stories implement AI in organizing transcriptions. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Analyzing existing transcriptions and understanding the current organization system. - Developing an AI system that can accurately organize transcriptions. - Optimizing the AI system for speed and accuracy. - Researching other variables that can improve the accuracy of the AI system. - Accounting for additional variables in the AI system. - Testing the AI system and making improvements based on additional data.

Virtual Internship Opportunity: Marketing Research & Sales

The primary focus for the student will be: Generate sales leads through LinkedIn. Our target clients are active on LinkedIn, and we want to meet them where they're at through unintrusive but relevant engagements. We would like students to: Help develop a creative strategy to find people interested in a book written for them Educate potential clients and generate interest in our services Identify opportunities and threats facing our brand Investigate our competitive landscape; perform market segmentation to identify the ideal target market. Review our prospect messaging, make recommendations, and create new outreach content. Develop and implement an SEO strategy; provide content suggestions and recommendations to increase search visibility. Students should be prepared to: Learn about LinkedIn and the LinkedIn Sales Navigator through online resources, including but not limited to videos, blog posts, and exploring the LinkedIn platform. Use Slack, Zoom, and ClickUp in an online workspace.

Press Release Creation and PR

We are looking for students interested in working with a bestselling author and illustrator to pitch new book ideas directly to publishers and create press releases. This project is an opportunity to see the process of securing publishing work and PR for an established author. There will also be other press release writing required for our company and clients. We will provide mentorship and guidance. Students should be prepared to: Help us refine our pitch and story to something compelling and timely Write up press releases around multiple news-worthy stories Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to us/most likely to pick the story up Send press releases and establish positive rapport with media contacts Secure media exposure for our organization Pitch stories to third party platforms and publications

Scrum Team - Project Manager

We are looking for students to play a role as the scrum team's project manager. A student in this position will understand the logistical aspects of the scrum team's projects based on information and mentorship from the We Write Stories team. We're looking for students interested in project managing the process of creating a book for a client from the onboarding to the finished product. Our main products provide a transformational experience for our clients while we create a book together. The client never puts pen to paper as we write the book. Consequently, many steps are needed to create something from nothing. Students in this position will be provided all necessary material, information, and access to software to overlook the scrum team's book project through a logistical lens. Students will help ensure the project's timelines are met by checking in with authors directly and communicating with the team. The student will play a key role in helping create a more efficient work process.

Newsletter Development and Publishing

We are looking for a student to help develop and distribute a newsletter that supports our organizations' cause. We think this project will include: Creating a weekly newsletter with helpful information so readers feel inspired Creating and soliciting materials to be published. Determining the features of a publication. Setting and enforcing deadlines. Making a final determination about what will be published in an issue. Coordinating frequency of publication. Overseeing all operations of a publication. An interest in the music industry, publishing, and persona development is a plus.

On-line Training Course Development

I would like to develop an on-line training course that teaches my audience how to apply the topics covered in my books. This project should focus on: Gathering relevant course design and content information from interviews with me and members of my team. Assessing existing on-line training platforms and recommending the best platform for this course. Assisting in designing the course. Assisting in developing first iteration of course (minimum viable product) We have lots of existing content to share, so the project wouldn't be starting from scratch. The bulk of the project would be course design, rather than content creation. There is a lot of room for creativity and input. You will work closely and can bring in other team members where needed. Animated Product Video Creation

I am looking to develop an animated video about the content of one of my books and a service my company provides. I am looking for a group of students to assist in the script development, storyboard, scene creation, and animation of this video. We envision this project to include but not be limited to: The creation of a fun and engaging 1-3 minute animation about the topic of my latest book and a parallel service that is consistent with my brand guidelines and communication strategy This video will be displayed on my company website and shared by email Final deliverables should include: A basic video script A voice-over recording of the final video script Video background music A visual storyboard Completed video scenes Icons for individual scenes A completed animated video with all of the elements above A student with interest in the publishing, entertainment, and personal development industries is a plus.
