Stop the Bleed: Social Media Campaign and Market Expansion Strategy
Canadian Interactive Training Facilitators has recently been approved by the US Department of Defense to provide the Stop the Bleed training program in Saskatchewan. This program aims to reduce deaths from blood loss during major emergencies such as industrial and farming accidents, explosions, and mass casualty events. The marketing materials and course content are already prepared. The project requires a team to develop a comprehensive social media campaign strategy to promote the program and create a market expansion report to identify potential growth opportunities for the company's training services. The goal is to increase awareness and enrollment in the Stop the Bleed program while exploring new markets for future expansion.
First Aid Video Game for Gen Z and Gen A
Canadian Interactive Training Facilitators aims to revolutionize first aid training by making it more engaging and memorable for Generation Z and Generation Alpha. The current challenge is that traditional first aid courses are not necessarily optimized for these audiences, leading to lower retention rates. By leveraging the principles of serious gamification, this project seeks to develop a first aid video game. Students who work on this project will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge of game design, user experience, and educational theory in a practical setting. We will provide extensive assistance with the project, providing scenarios, graphics, simulated injuries etc. as students need.
B2B Customer Expansion Project
The main goal for the project is to increase the number of B2B customers for Canadian Interactive Training Facilitators. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Researching the current market for training services in Saskatchewan and identifying potential B2B clients. - Developing a marketing strategy to reach out to potential B2B clients and promote the company's training courses. - Creating a proposal for customized training solutions tailored to the specific needs of potential B2B clients. - Conducting outreach and communication with potential B2B clients to present the company's offerings and negotiate partnerships.
Virtual Internship Opportunity: Computer Science
Positions available: 5 Our organization, Canadian Interactive Training Facilitators (CITF) is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 1 computer science student. Project Scope: To achieve our first digitizing goal, our proposal is a multi-layered learning platform designed to allow individual learners to synchronously complete third party First Aid and Safety industry-standard certifications. Due to safety factors including Covid, we are interested in designing a program that allows on-site moderators to guide learners through safety training “as if” the instructor was present. We will mentor and guide you with safety knowledge, and the ability to acquire industry-standard safety and professional development certifications as you test the software. We need the software to : Allow for three logins: learner, moderator and administrator Be device agnostic Prove remote access to learners’ devices Allow for videoconferencing, chat, and screensharing (similar to Zoom or Teamviewer) We would like to work with one or more students who can design and bring this cloud-based platform to a beta state and/or “finished” state. This project will help the students involved in it to acquire software/app development skills and a functional project for their portfolio. Benefits to the Students: Gain experience with Software Architecture Development. Enhance their software/app development skills Add the experience of building a full-stack project to their portfolio. User experience design. Work with an agile style project methodology. Create a design proposal with mock-ups. Use the MERN stack to build functional front and back end software. Proposed Technology: CITF has drafted some software architecture exploring the idea of using the following technologies. We are open to suggestions for alternate technological solutions. The MERN Stack: MongoDB - document database Express(.js) - Node.js web framework React(.js) - a client-side JavaScript framework Node(.js) - the premier JavaScript web serverCITF has drafted some software architecture exploring the idea of using the following technologies. We are open to suggestions for alternate technological solutions. Other duties the student may complete could include : Software vendor research and evaluation Assisting with other process improvement projects Unit and integration testing Responding to IT/Service Desk requests We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Email Phone calls Zoom Slack Student's primary contact : Merilee Morales, President
