Book Publication: Phase 1 (Medical/Health) FULL
Positions available: up to 200 total students, working in groups of 12 We would like students to write and publish books. For phase 1 of this initiative, students will focus on medical health topics. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: work with team pod of students to help write two books, one book each week write 2200 to 4000 words each week and edit other team (pod) members work on collective document upload documents for publication as books onto research sites keep with schedule and work as book writing team This project will be ongoing over 8 weeks, with different books being produced in each two-week segment. There will be 4 project postings on Riipen that students can apply for. Each phase will run for two weeks.

Economic Impact of Muslim Communities in Alberta: Northern Alberta
Scope of the Study: Northern Alberta The primary objective of this study is to explore the Economic and non-Economic contribution of the Muslim community in Northern Alberta. The Muslim community has been around for a long time and has been growing in all aspects – not only in numbers but also in all facets – business, profession, income contribution, social and political processes, etc. It is important to have a comprehensive understanding of the community in the greater society of Alberta. This project is expected to do that. The outcome of the study is to create a comprehensive report – perhaps in two parts – a technical part with details [much more hard facts and figures for academic, official, and professional use] and a promotional part [for the general audience]. This subproject will aid in the main project through the collection of data. A semi-structured or combined structure and non-structure questionnaire will be used for this part. Structured data will provide quantitative figures to develop charts, graphs, and other visual means. It will also provide an opportunity for statistical analysis and numerical comparisons. The non-structured component will allow supporting the quantitative information through further in-depth information. Qualification of the students : Must be familiar with Muslim culture and community as well as the contemporary society of Alberta. High peoples and communication skills are essential. Experience in conducting surveys would be an asset. Location : Northern Alberta, North of Red Deer [Edmonton, Lac La Biche, Fort McMurray, Grand Prairie, etc.].
ESG Investing
Goal The Goal of this project is to create a record of private and public companies, which aim at conducting their business successfully, whilst having a positive social impact on the community. The Research will include Step 1 Discovering the listings of private and public companies in all the stock-trading countries. Step 2 Grouping the companies into those that: Clearly state that they aim at a positive social impact Imply that they are supporting societal benefit Could be benefiting the society in a positive fashion, but are not concerned in promoting that aspect of their business The rest Step 3 Identifying the leading/successful public companies in each group, and later assessing the eligibility of the top 60 to be listed on the Social Stock exchange Step 4 Recognizing the private companies in each group, which are considering/might consider an IPO, and later assessing the eligibility of the top companies to be listed on the Social Stock Exchange Social impact oriented ventures/mission driven ventures that have transformational impact potential. From a finance perspective they need to have market size potential beyond only a niche level such that they could one day possibly go public they continue to grow in traction over time. So it could be companies that within the next three years might go public, and it also can include social ventures that may not go public for nine years. EduTutor - 4 - Research - Metaverse
The goal of the project is to provide EduTutor with a research paper outlining the pros and cons of the Metaverse with respect to our tutoring company. Is the Metaverse a place where our company could expand? How? What are the issues regarding this possibility, such as security and the safety of our students and staff? By the end of the project, Riipen students will outline their thoughts and research and if the Metaverse is something EduTutor should join.
Blog Post Creation
We would like a student to help us with creating blog posts that are aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. You will be writing blogs for our organization on a variety of topics that we will discuss and approve beforehand. Some examples of previous topics include: "Top 10 parks to visit in Ottawa, Canada", a blog series on various inspiring women, recipes, and more. We encourage students to be creative! Student will be expected to include SEO techniques in the blog posts they create. Students will also be required to find copyright/royalty free photos to add to blog posts.
Media Partnership Coordinator
We are looking for students to create press releases and lead the development of media partnership proposals and pitch to clients. Students will be expected to create and execute innovative solutions in the area of media partnerships and sponsorships. Students should be prepared to: Develop proactive media and public relations plans including strategy, goals and tactics. Topics and guidelines will be determined following the kick-off meeting. Participants will produce a finalised deliverable of a minimum 3000-word article. Applicants must be comfortable writing according to a variety of conventions and formats and within diverse topic-areas. Blogging - Reviews of Clinical Studies of Amaranth Oil
Folium Labs has recently launched a new wellness product - a 30 ml dropper bottle with cold-pressed amaranth oil. Amaranth Oil has a lot of medicinal benefits and contains a number of active ingredients that are widely used in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries. We want to create a blog with reviews of the latest advances in the scientific evidence of amaranth oil in treating various medical conditions. This will strengthen our marketing and bring more awareness about the science-backed benefits of amaranth oil. Also, we would like to collaborate with students to create blog posts that drive more traffic to our website educate consumers on the latest research on amaranth oil, and build credibility among consumers about its benefits, converting them into online buyers. The students will conduct and learn the following digital advertising and e-commerce activities: Conduct keyword analysis utilizing online tools and optimize the blog posts for search engines. This includes using target keywords and naturally adding meta tags. Share your blog posts across your social media channels, email newsletters, and other marketing channels. Encourage our audience to share content, too. Encourage comments on blog posts and actively respond to them. Engage with our audience in discussions related to the content. Incorporate blog content into our email marketing strategy. Share new blog posts with our subscribers and provide them with additional insights or incentives to visit the blog. Consider guest blogging on industry-related websites or inviting guest bloggers to contribute to your blog. Use analytics tools like Google Analytics to track the performance of the blog posts. Monitor metrics like traffic, bounce rate, time on page, and conversion rates. Incorporate calls-to-action (CTAs) within your blog posts to guide readers to take desired actions, such as signing up for a newsletter or making a purchase. Data Entry: review & approve blog posts, add internal links
Our content team creates dozens of new blog posts every week (published here: https://www.squash.io/tutorials/). These are mostly software development tutorials and other relevant content to our audience. We would like to collaborate with students in data entry to perform some basic final quality checks on these articles as well as adding internal links between articles when needed. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our content and structure. We do NOT require any experience with software development . You will review the articles based on a list of general guidelines that we will be providing to you. These are mostly related to visual aspects and formatting of the content. The internal links between articles are already automated, you only need to accept or ignore suggestions that are already made by a software/plugin that we use with Wordpress. We will provide detailed instructions on how to do that. Become familiar with WordPress and using a plugin to accept internal link suggestions. Approving or rejecting blog posts according to our internal guidelines.

Digital Content Writing with AI +SEO 2024 2
We would like students to help us with creating digital marketing content in the form of blog articles. Raw content will be written using an AI content writing tool and optimized partially within that tool's functionality and also further optimized using an SEO-specific optimization tool. . The articles and other content will be based on topics and keywords for inclusion that will be provided. These will cover a broad range of subjects related to our niche of RVing, camping and boating. They could be related either to the parts we sell or to the recreational/outdoor lifestyle and related activities. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. This project offers students the ability to learn cutting edge AI as it relates to content marketing and also provides a learning experience with respect to search engine optimization best practices.
BetterLTC Research Assistant - Using Instagram as a knowledge mobilization tool
Project: The focus of the project is to co-create a marketing strategy for our Instagram posts to connect adults and persons caring with older adults. The information within the Instagram posts will provide micro-learning opportunities, promote self-care, and advocate for care practices that advance the quality of life for older adults.
BetterLTC - Communication and Website Development 2024
Too many good ideas, and not enough hands or expertise in the patient-oriented research team with a focus on caring with older adults, their close ones, and health care staff within the long-term care (LTC) setting. BetterLTC Electronic Data Collection Form Pilot Project
The main goal for the project is to pilot a new electronic data collection form for the comprehensive geriatric assessment within a special care home in Warman, Saskatchewan. The project aims to assess the feasibility, usability, and effectiveness of the new form in collecting data for the assessment of older adults within the care home setting. This will involve several different steps for the team, including: - Collaborating with the special care home in Warman, Saskatchewan to introduce the new electronic data collection form. - Supporting approximately 100 participants in completing the assessment using the new form. - Collecting feedback from participants and healthcare professionals on the usability and effectiveness of the new form. - Analyzing the data collected through the new form to assess its feasibility and potential for implementation in other care home settings.
