9 individual positions available Project will be executed in phases and students will be able to complete it asynchronously while meeting project milestones. This is a great project for someone looking to get experience in a fast paced early-stage start-up environment. Phase 1: Training Phase (about 10 hours) Students will be provided with all the background information and training in terms of the project outline and deliverables over the course of their time with us. Areas focused aligns with our project and will focus on Tech sales including areas like inbound sales, etc. Phase 2: Project Execution Phase (about 60 hours) We want you to investigate our sales funnel to help us understand why prospects are falling off and what changes we should make to increase sales. You will be in contact with the founder for any information and we will provide all current data for review. Focus may include, but is not limited to: Mapping our customer journey in a multi-sided market.Identifying problem areas where prospects disengage from the sales funnel.Developing recommendations of how we can improve our sales process for the revenue-generating client-side. The final project deliverable is a written report detailing our current sales process and your recommended changes. The report should include: A visual graphic of current sales process.Current touchpoints between prospect & sales team. This includes identifying areas to highlight within our landing page in order to get users from all sides while avoiding the chicken and egg problem. Current sales collateral that is exchanged.Drop-off rates between each sales stage.Recommendations for improvement. Through this campaign, we hope to increase our leads and brand awareness and drive sign-ups on our website. The submission would be a strategic plan in the form of a PDF . We will provide necessary referral and mentorship to successfully success in your application.Our e-course training and work experience will further assist you in terms of the application.

Number of individual students required: 30 Students from business-related fields are preferred. Participating in this project will help students mentor other students working on marketing projects. Project will be executed in phases and students will be able to complete it asynchronously at their own pace. NOTE: Phase 2 and Phase 3 are supposed to be completed simultaneously. Phase 1 and Phase 4 will be completed individually. Phase 1: E-course Training Phase (about 30-35 hours) Students will be provided with recommended training modules in the form of multiple FREE marketing e-courses which can be completed at one's own pace and time. Students will provide a screenshot/certificate of completion for every course. Phase 2: Building a Marketing Portfolio (about 10 hours) Students will submit a Strategic Plan by: Evaluating recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our industry. Selecting a primary social media channel for our campaign and suggesting/creating unique posts. Developing a campaign plan including Content, hashtag, and messaging. Phase 3: Mentorship and Applying for Jobs/Co-ops (about 25 hours) Students will be required to provide mentorship to two students working on an employer marketing project. Mentorship is supposed to be in the form of a zoom call between the student mentor and their mentee. Students are required to apply for AT LEAST 10 marketing co-ops, part-time or full-time jobs while they mentor other students. Students can specify the skills they learnt via provided e-courses in Phase 1 in their cover letter and resume. They can also use their experience as a mentor in their cover letters/resume. Students will be assisted during this process including help with cover letter and resume. Phase 4: Reflection, and Review (about 8 hours): We want to hear about how our training modules of FREE e-courses helped you during the job application and mentorship. Students are asked to submit a PDF report in a proper format , which includes: A separate 200-300 word review of every included e-course within our training module, and whether or not the course assisted you while applying for jobs/co-ops during Phase 3. This part should focus on the relevance of a combination of e-course, working on our real-life company project, and mentorship assisted you in your job/co-op application (be sure to mention if it didn't necessarily help). 50-100 word summary of pros and cons of every e-course.
